LET ME INTRODUCE MYSELF!
I am Poppy Tagore. I am from Barcelona, Spain but now live in London, England. I hope to be be your English teacher and help you speak English quickly and easily using my simple learning methods.
I spent many years trying to learn English in the classroom by reading textbooks, memorising words and studying grammar.
But I still could not speak English.
AND I still could not understand English when someone spoke to me.

i really appreciate your great efforts in trying to teach english on behalf of all of us want to speak english fulently. of course we can not speak english so fluently like a native people. i have been focusing on speaking english for a long time. sometimes, i managed to speak english sometimes, i lost my confidence while i was speaking english. Enlish is a part of my job. i work at a company engaged with int. trade. i can communicate with foreign people. but sometimes, i have difficulty to understanding a somebody on the phone. i dont like talking on the phone.
i prefer writing instead of speaking. anyway, i am following your learing method and yr instruction. hope it will help my speaking english.thanks / best regards emir

Congratulations on such a fantastic comment! I know talking on the phone when you are not a native speaker can be very difficult. You are not alone. One thing I learned is to make sure I am concentrating 100% on the other speaker… over time it gets easier – believe me. It’s great that you are able to write well in English…. but I do recommend that you continue to develop your English speaking skills. This will help your career tremendously. Hello Poppy, how have you been?
I´m finishing the module 4 and I´m really enjoying your tips. I don’t have many friends to make contact to improve my spoken English, could you give me any idea how I can training my spoken English?
And I’m listening every day the Inspired English program, I getting better my spoken English and I have understood 90% what you speak in the CD but when I try listening a radio or TV program I can’t understand what they are speaking! and this are bothering me!

I am really pleased that you are progressing with your English training. I believe you are from Brazil? If so, I know from my travels that there are many English speakers there. So, if you can, try and find someone that you can practice your English with on a regular basis. Alternatively there are many websites that have English training through Skype – you can find one on Google. Don’t worry about not understanding speakers on the radio and television. You should do one thing…. continue to listen AND continue to watch. You will start to understand what is being said in no time, I promise.

I have enjoyed the 6 lesson so much. Anyway, I would have listened to a more real situation in English since I didn´t have any trouble in undestanding to you two as I usually do when I watch movies or listen to the radio.
